Yup, METV...the commercials are depressing though, Medicare, metamucil, low cost cell phones, hearing aids etc.
I record them, then fast forward.

I don't know why McGarret has to 'peel rubber' everytime he leaves a crime scene in his Hoopdie?

He even 'burned rubber' in the dirt on Mt. Tantalus...how is that even possible?

That's probably because those shows were popular when the majority of their viewing audience was still young. Now that baby boomers are retired or soon to be retired, most of the commercials will be for products that usually only old folks would be interested in buying. During the daytime, most of the young folks are either at work or at school, so a good portion of the METV audience will be retirees and shut-ins.

We baby boomers were lucky. The best and most original tv shows were made during the baby boom years of the 50's, 60's and 70's.

Hope you get well soon, Mr. Magoo.

It's much easier for homeless people there than somewhere like North Dakota that gets very cold winters. At least they are not freezing to death in the winter.

All true and you have multi-family's living in the same home, because alone they cannot afford paying house payments. But all together they can afford to pay the expenses.

Hawaiians are pacific islanders and many people tend to live with their families until they can really support themselves and their own family. A group is beneficial too as they tend to help one another.
