Maybe a place like Squaresoft ( SquareEnix ) still in Hawaii ? Speak Japanese?

You could also possible pair up with people to make useful software and share profits and marketing from all releases.

Does it takes an idiot to design a good website or app/program?

I am a software architect currently functioning as a developer. I am working on a project with a team lead, three analysts and me.

I don't know if their jobs are easier, but I can complete all of the "development" they throw my way.

It is completely different skill sets.

Superstar software developers have more earning upside. An analyst does not need to code and generally easier to find.

Wow! That’s a question! You can start by watching some YouTube videos. You’ll very quickly learn what IT professionals do. IT professionals can make a high income, which is an important factor if you’re trying to build your wealth over a long time period, like two or three decades. Not everyone is cut out to be an IT professional. But a lot of people do have the capacity to achieve far more than they think they could achieve, and they settle more far less in their lives than they could have achieved.

Being an LPN is not for everyone either. Not all health care careers are high income careers. Healthcare is more of a 24 x 7 career field than IT work, since there are usually 3 shifts to fill, plus weekends and holidays. You might be stuck working second or third shifts, plus weekends and holidays for years in a healthcare career. IT careers do have some after hours work, but drastically less than health care careers.

But if you limit where you will live by restricting where you will live to Hawaii, you’ll restrict your potential to build your wealth over time. One of the systemic problems with Hawaii is low wages and a high cost of living. You can deal with that by lowering your financial future expectations, and lowering your standard of living. Even if you have a high income career, it can be better to live below your means, so you can save a lot of money for a comfortable early retirement. Many people never seriously think about the long run. If you have a high income career, live below you means, you can choose to retire, and still maintain your standard of living without having to work anymore. Or, you could spend all or more than you earn during your working years, and be eventually forced to retire with a reduced standard of living or maybe in poverty.

I suggest you start with YouTube and other free resources on the Internet to help you determine you future career changes. Your life can be drastically changed by how you invest in yourself. High cost colleges frequently don’t translate to high income jobs. Think about what you want your life to look like in the future, and start doing the shorter term things to reach your longer term goals.
