YOU NEED HELP!!!!!! LIKE TWICE ALREADY!!!!! That's some friend that loans you a car with no more nuttin, as in registration, current safety sticker and insurance, and doesn't tell you about the possible consequnces if you should happen to be pulled over. Just make the court appearance, explain what happened, doubt if there will be any pilikia, as in problem. You may want to see to it that your "friend" has the problems rectified prior to your court appearance..Ono laki, as in good luck!

Aloha and okolemaluna

Next time, ask your friend to show you all you need to know before you drive anyone of your friend's car.

If you have a car your own insurance often covers you while driving somebody else's car.

From my understanding...you will not lose your license but you will get fined...I just hope that you did not have other infractions like speeding or alcohol etc...then the issue becomes more serious. If I were you...I get your friend to show up to court with you to explain that he let you drive without knowing that there was no insurance on the car and that you did not mean to do that intentionally...That may get your fine reduced.

I suggest you call an attorney......yesterday. Don't ever go to court w/out representation. And you have a mess, here. As VanHa said, depending on why you were pulled over in the first place, it could be very serious.

There is an old saying "Ignorance is no defense". This is how the court will see your explanation. I mean no disrespect, just the truth and a heads up for you.
