Hi all,

My wife will be done with nursing school in 2 years. She's originally from the islands and in the future we may want to go back...

She is hearing ALL KINDS of conflicting reports as to the nursing situation. Is it the case that new grads (RN's) are unable to find work on the islands? If so, has it always been like this? If this is due to our current economy, does anyone foresee this changing when things improve?

Mahalo to anyone who can clarify!

I believe Maui Memorial is pretty much always looking for nurses. From what I understand, coming as a Travel Nurse is the best way to go.
