I was sitting here watching KGMB9 news on the comp. and I cant stand the wait till i get out there.

So to help pass the time... What are you wearing today?

People out here don't understand my clothes but I dont care.

Today I'm wearing a Hula bean T-shirt shorts and slippahs even tho its raining and cool out.

Lets see if we can update this thread to get a real cross reference on the dress of the Islands!

Mahalo to all!

Fun! I am wearing a TAV dress from Rarotonga in turquoise and white - supersoft and a very bold print. I get lots of compliments on it, but I wore it today because the temperature is on the cool side (upper 60s) and I wanted a dress with sleeves (most of mine are sleeveless)

I went on 2 interviews and wore khaki pants with a nice, dress Aloha shirt and casual shoes. Compared to a couple of others whom I noticed were not dressed as neatly.

in a little bit of an exile to your neck of the woods in western NY right now. When i was in HI/CA i would just wear board shorts, reef slippers, and an old tshirt (if needed, prefer no shirt). Now at my summer job in WNY i'm forced to wear shoes... hate wearing proper shoes. Still doesn't stop me from wearing board shorts and old t-shirts! I'll be back on the Big island all summer next year an part of the winter this year. If they say home is where your heart is, then i guess my home should be in HI, well for now it's just my home away from home.

No da popoki going scratch you, not the other way around!

Today we went holoholo with the fancy cars so we were wearing our fancy clothes. Mu'umu'u (short kine) and aloha shirt with nice hats. There's a bunch of fancy cruiser cars running around all over the island this week so we went holoholo to the volcano with them today. Yesterday we was diggin' in the dirt, (aka "farming") so yestaday was da same rubba slippers (Scotts, of course) but ratty ol' puka shirt and puka pants, too. Tomorrow if the weather is nice we will go fancy again and holoholo with the cars, otherwise we will wear puka pants.
