Hey all! Just wanna know what your thoughts are on a studio apartment in St. Louis Heights? I have a moped and not sure if its gonna make that trek up into the hills above Kaimuki lol I'm in Waikiki now but lease runs out at the end of the month and I want some peace and quiet! Gotta get out of Waikiki here.. I've been speaking with a renter who has a place up in St. Louis Heights for $975 incl. all utilities and my dog would be able to come along. (its hard to find a place that allows pets!) What is everyone's thoughts on this neighborhood??

In general St. Louis Hts is a nice neighborhood with rather spectacular views. Th hills can be daunting but is is possible to make the climb via cross streets (basically zig zagging) if your moped has problems with the straight climb.

Take a look at the studio to see if it meets with your approval, but again in general terms it is a nice place with nice families.

Take the BUS! Man - that is a steal for SLH. I lived up there for 20 years. You get used to it. A lot of people stack their bikes on the rack and take the bus up the hill. Now going down...

If you don't want it, please DM me. My secretary needs a place near UH and SLH would be perfect!
