Mahalo!

At this juncture I am planning on driving to LA and getting a direct flight to Kona. This means towing a car with the dog and myself alone. I'm doing this for 2 reasons 1) I cant find a way to not give the dog between 14 and 24 hours in the crate without a break with 3-5 plane transfers unless I drive to either Newark or Chicago. 2) by driving I save at least 2 grand and with at this point 2 house payments I cant justify spending money for my convenience.

When are you doing the drive? If I could do that, I would. But I have 3 dogs and I do not believe I can drive cross country that way. Soo... I am still looking at the marathon flight out of Newark to HNL. Continental tells me they can accomodate all dogs on one flight. It costs $$$$ but I may have to do things I didn't want to do financially in terms of my house here..

You know, here's the deal. I have wanted this move for so long, the real estate market works for me on Kauai in a way it could never have before. I have to talk to a realtor on Monday and a lawyer on Tues. I am set to close on the house on Kauai the end of Jan. I am out of here no matter what. It is so close, I can taste it and I won't let it go. Today I fell in the driveway today trying to get my son's wheelchair into the van, hurt my tailbone (coccyx) and sent my back into spasms. I am sooooo done with this it's not even funny.
