Did you like your experience with Matson? I've heard mixed reviews and was considering Horizon since Pasha doesn't ship from the Northwest. But Matson's website is a lot more user-friendly, which I like (I HATE having to write to customer service for every little detail - I've got enough places to call in the coming weeks)

We used Matson out of Oakland to Hilo. The ship they used was very new (not that my car cared) and designed as a vehicle carrier. No salt covering on our car, unlike what I have seen on other vehicles from other carriers.

I read the most positive reviews about Matson and also about Pasha. I think you should choose between those two to ship your vehicle. I would choose based off of which one ships the closest to your final destination. I have seen enough reviews about both companies that I would recommend either to you.
I am dropping off my car tomorrow and so I will have to let you know in a few weeks how my experience is with them.
I do have a lot of freedom. As I get older I am able to be more of a free spirit. I am not nervous or anxious about this move. I am just excited and enjoying the journey. I am single with no kids and so that also helps my situation. At first my family wasn't supportive but most of them have jumped on the banwagon. Even if they didn't I'm still sick of NY and I need a change in a dramatic way. I am doing this for myself.
