There's Mokulele, too - or there was. Are they still in business? I heard they merged with Go!, and I'd hoped that would be for the better, because Go! was awful the one time we flew with them (Kauai - Kona,BI RT, through Oahu each way). But maybe they're both going down the tubes now? I haven't been following. After our awful experience with Go! I'm sticking to Hawaiian. With the Hawaiian Miles Visa, it's not hard to charge up enough miles for a couple of people to get RTs to another island once in a while.

There is: Go and Mokulele merged, the small carrier Island Air and finally Hawaiian Air.
Translation...
Hawaiian Air and Go are it; book early for best fares, as the seats fill the fares go up.
Yeah, Bend is the best, but even fewer jobs than Hawaii -- and cold! Where are you now - and do you miss the Cascades?
I live in Honolulu -- but grew up in WA state. Made it home for the holidays this year, got some skiing in, really enjoyed it. Lucked out and and it didn't rain every day!

+1. There's a $50 annual fee for the card, but overall it's a pretty good deal. 20,000 bonus miles when you sign up. Inner island flights are ~15,000 miles each way.
I basically use this card on every purchase, then pay it off at the end of the month. Got half of my trip home for the holidays paid for.

Here is a list of airlines.
All the legacy carriers ( UAL, AA, USAirways etc) will have some inter-island flights. But they are limited and most seats are part of packages from other areas. They are the most expensive for short flights. Hawaiian Airlines is the dominant carrier serving inter-island and mainland travel. Go - Mokulele is a joint venture servicing inter-island transportation. Island Air is a small inter-island carrier service some of the more smaller airports. Pacific Wings is similar to island Air InterIsland Airways offers non-scheduled flights on demand. Good for if you have several people in your party and don't want the hassles of using a scheduled service. Pacific Air Charter is similar to InterIsland Airways.
A couple of years ago, fares were down near 29-39 each way in the fare wars...check Orbitz, they seem to list the smaller carriers for interisland routes.
In the 90's we nabbed a Seattle-Las Vegas airfare for $49 round trip! It was a family event and the hotel we stayed at was reasonable, had a small casino and we paid $29 a night. Took them for a bunch at the blackjack table, too.
I agree, doubt we'll ever see fares like that again, but 69-89 RT isn't out of the question when there is a sale on.
