I live in MA. I recently changed employers. My new employer is a small company. The good news. They have a decent health insurance plan AND they pay 100% of the premium for the entire family, not just the employee. The bad news: they don't cover prescription drugs. My husband is staying on his own company's plan as they cover 100% employee premiums, not family (family $$$ is pretty outrageous) but he gets prescription drug coverage.

Any idea what I can do for prescription drug coverage? I have 2 kids with ADHD and I take some allergy meds for which there are no generics. Even the generic version of Flonase is about $70 at the pharmacy!

I know that Walgreens offers a pharmacy plan but I don't have an idea of costs. Other companies that offer independent Rx plans are Medco and Caremark. Google them and check if their sites can give you any idea of premiums or how to enroll for coverage.

I know where I live in So Cali, AAA is welcome at a few of the drug stores out here. I use it at Longs Drug Store. I dont know if you have that chain in MA. If you have AAA, look at their website and they will list all the pharmacys that honor their card.
