Hello All

I am an LPN in NYC and currently being interviewed for senior home care positions. In one of the positions, the man has dementia and is 95 years old. They would like me to work, full-time, Monday-Saturday for a total of 55 hours per week. What do you think a fair weekly salary is? I'm not sure what I should ask. They will be paying cash.

Also, so that this thread is not so focused, what is the going rate in your area for a situation and hours like this? Assuming that you are an LPN or higher and will be doing some light housekeeping as well. The man is not completely disabled, so I wouldn't charge an extreme rate. Ideas?
