Well I think that I started going downhill at 30....and I am 50 now. I had 3 major abdominal surgeries by that time and with my TAH at 30, Everything else started to fall apart. I developed Osteoporisi at 31, circulatory condition in lower extremities, put at least 50 pounds on in 5 years, and developed a heart condition that left me with pvc's and then my psoriasis that I got at 30 is progressively worsening..so you could say I am a wreck with all this now and plus I have a venous ulcer on my ankle, and more threatening to come, and the enbril injections that can help it won't cause they won't give it with someone on steroids and a condition requiring them to have it. So.............I am now out of work after 22 years of steady employment working in the health care field, because my past employer felt my condition was a health risk to others.I am very depressed because of all this.,and yes I am overweight and have ben for at least 20 years..my advice to anyone younger than 30 is take care of yourself. Excercise and don't think that someday you won't be someone thats on the Heavy side, as I thought it would not be me,,,now I hold alot of respect for that Larger than average person because I am one of them, and we too have alot of feelings, and still need to be loved and want to be a part of our society and accepted. We too have rights...we just are not young anymore, and cannot do the things our minds thinkn we can..accepting our age and health is the hardest thing I have ever had to do..enjoy life, and be thankful for what youhave...
at 15 i developed exercise-induced asthma.
at 16 i had a bad knee injury that has still not healed (would've helped to go to a doctor).
at 18 i began to develop mild arthritis.
at 18 my testosterone levels peaked.
again at 18 i injured both of my knees while playing college rugby.
at 19 i slipped a disc in my back.
at 20 i separated a disc in my back.
at 22 now i have trouble bending over and when i wake up in the morning my joints are completely stiff.
but i will say that i an much sexier at 22 than i was at 15, so i can't complain too much
I started going down hill around the age of 38. I'm 41 now and it just continues to be going down hill!
My hair texture has changed and I have some gray hair now.
I see wrinkles everywhere and I mean everywhere.
I don't feel old though. I have no aches and pains. I just see that I am getting older and it seemed to of happen overnight.
I used to tan A LOT! Now I see the damage that it has caused. It's horrible and I wish I never tanned. People warned me but I did not listen.
I was 25...I had my first of 12 surgeries for endometriosis, then they put me on meds, and I never again was as healthy as before all my surgeries and meds. But the pain was so unbearable I had to do something...
MBG
58 and counting...still no sign of going downhill!

Your my hero Francowell....... as i always am inspired when those who are older than me are still thriving and doing well. I'm totally into health, fitness and longevity as it carried over from my early fitness days back in the 80's.
I seen an article reciently on Jack Lalane who is now 93 and still works out 2 hours a day six days a week and he says its not genes but all diet and exercise that keeps him going. He does 500 pushups a day !
I started falling apart when I was 57, am now 60 & have all manner of aches & pains. My father, on the other hand, is 95, rides his exercise bike 30 min daily, & never hurts anywhere. He's as limber as a little monkey. It just doesn't seem fair, but I am happy for him, he lives with me & is a delight to have around.
I noticed when I was 25 I started to feel more tired and "old". I changed to organic foods right away and felt 100 times better! I am 27 now and feel like I am 19 all over again!
