Great article! Now the problem is how to incorporate those healthy foods into my non-healthy diet? Actually come to think of it, making a soup with most of these items could be very good.

I'm currently eating three of the ten. Beets? I just don't like them. I'll start looking for swiss chard and purslane.

Cabbage and Swiss chard are not good if you have had or have a family history of kidney stones. Swiss chard actually contains more oxalates (sp?) than any other food.

I've always disliked men's magazines - but I picked one up Men's Health other day, and it was really informative. I was impressed.

Anyway, the list is:
-beets
-cabbage
-guava
-swiss chard
-cinnamon
-purslane
-pomegrante juice
-goji berries
-prunes

Apparently the article was written by this guy:

Without reading the article, these ingredients are good for you for the most part. But where are you going to find goji berries. I know that there are a number of supplements, but have never seen just the berries.

Also, cinnamon is questionable because it can contain toxins. There are a few supplements that address the toxin issue, but it is not as simple as going to the store and buying a jar of cinnamon.

I usually buy my gogi berries at my local health food store, and sometimes online. Here's an online site to check out: Organic Goji Berries - The Answers Are Here There are many others that can be found by doing a google search on Gogi berries.

We don't really use cinnamon that often. When we do buy it we tend to buy organically grown cinnamon at the local health food store. I might add that we've never had a problem with it. It really has been quite straigt forward for us to find good quality cinnamon.
