Cynwldkat....i'm sorry that your sister isn't doing well and hope that the DR's can offer her some of these new medicines coming out now and in the near future.

However if she doesn't respond and continues going downhill i would recommend you research more about Autoimmune diseases and Inflammation. You can Google ''Autoimmune Diseases Sucess Stories'' especially Multiple Sclerosis and see where people made radical changes in their diets by eating Antiinflammatory foods like lots of Salmon and Skinless chicken and also Brocolli and Dark green leafy veggitables and adding Blueberries or Blackberries as these are some examples (no grains or dairy) and some antiinflammatory supplements like the Omega-3 Fishoils and/or Flax oil and Evening Primrose oil and herbs like Tumeric and Ginger etc... as there are others

Again i always say go to the medical route first and if they can help then fantastic but if not then research these things i've talked about and see what you think as again some people crippled bad with MS have put their disease in remission after a radical change in diet and what not........

All great ideas. Thank you. And I do agree...when medications don't work as well as they might turn to good old mother nature. I will look into ''Autoimmune Diseases Sucess Stories'' and pass this information on to my sisters hubby. My sister is still in ICU and has been for 2 weeks now with a Myasthenia Gravis crisis. The muscles in her lungs are just to weak to help her to breath. She just recently was taken off the ventilator but we aren't sure if that will last. We just keep praying.

Hi I just read you message listed. I would love to be able to talk to someone who has MG. My mother-in-law just got diagnosed. She is at Loma Linda right now. Marcie
