Good Day To All Chatters!
I'm Pepsi Scott.

One main reason why i am here is to ask a question concerning a solution for my brother who has a genital warts now.
I would like to know if what's the best treatment for genital warts nowadays?
I heard that there are newly and improved treatment products for this kind of disease. Just forgot the name.

Any Idea?
The only available here in our place is the products' Wartrol and Oxyfend.
For Remedies, Tea Tree Oil and Cider Vinegar.
Quite difficult to determine which among these treatments are very effective to used.

Help us guys. Maybe some of you know a person who had genital warts before and now okay. Can you asked what's the solution she/he used?

Thank You!

First, the diagnosis needs to be confirmed by a physician. Since warts can lead to cancer, any suspicious areas need to be removed and the tissue sent to a pathologist for examination.

If the diagnosis appears to be simple warts, one option is to wait and see if they go away without any treatment. There is a high probability that this will happen. This is likely the reason that Wartrol and Oxyfend appear to work --- the warts would have gone away even if the products were not used.

If treatment is desired, Aldara Cream, which requires a prescription, is very effective and is applied by the patient, so frequent office visits are not necessary.

If the patient smokes, quitting is essential. It will really help the warts go away.

The warts are caused by a virus, human papillomavirus, or HPV, that is sexually transmitted. Partner(s) need to be notified so that they can get appropriate testing and use of condoms is essential.

Testing for other sexually transmitted diseases, including the AIDS virus, is recommended.

Hi Pepsi! I'm sorry to hear that your brother is suffering from genital warts. I have to concur with Suzy; it will be best if your brother visits a doctor in order to know the right treatment for his genital warts and for him to get tested for other sexually transmitted diseases. If the wart is in its initial stage, it is possible that you can advise him to use otc products like Wartscide or the ones you've mentioned. Still, though, the best option is to visit a physician.

I third the motion. Better to consult a doctor to examine your brother's condition with regards on genital warts. I've already heard that Oxyfend is a great treatment for warts. I think it can avail even if there's no prescription. However, for 100% safetiness.. You must consult a doctor and try to ask that treatments if what's the best to used and applied.

Most people have one form or another of HPV. If your brother has warts he should go get his junk checked out by a doctor, there are a couple of topical treatments that a doctor will prescribe and they will probably work unless your brother is fairly unlucky.

The other thing that works with male condyloma is your immune system. While your brother will always have the HPV virus, most people who develop warts have them disappear within 2 years. Other people have them come and go like corporal warts often do, but some unlucky people get really, really terrible wart growth - to the point of equipment uselessness. Get it checked out. They are very treatable when small and few, not so treatable when big and many.

Don't procrastinate.

Don't put any home remedies on your junk. That would be really, really stupid.

I was told when I had to get surgery on my cervix that HPV was "forever." Turns out that was incorrect. Also, not everyone who has HPV, will get warts. I never did. Also, "most people" don't have HPV in one form or another. "Most people" will be exposed to HPV at some point in their lives. Some of them will contract HPV, some won't. Most of the people who are infected with HPV, will no longer be infected with it after around two years. There are some strains of HPV that live longer in the body, but even they don't stay there forever.

Hi, Pepsi. It's sad to hear that your brother has genital warts. As what others have said, I think, it will be best if you encourage him to see a doctor so that he can get the right treatment for his condition. This will also allow him to be tested for other sexually transmitted disease. If he's too embarrassed to see a specialist, the best suggestion I can give is to let him use an otc medication for genital warts such as Wartscide, or the ones you've mentioned above. Such a treatment will prevent the warts from multiplying and spreading to other parts of his genital. Also advise him to avoid having sexual contact while on treatment so that he won't pass it on to other people.

My friend recently got rid of her genital warts using a liquid solution called Wartscide...if I'm not mistaken, she purchased it online. She said the liquid made her warts fall off after just a few days of use. Quite impressive, if you ask me. Whatever your brother chooses as treatment, I hope he gets better soon.
