Sometime, but not always, in the summer I can sit in an air conditioned room or truck and the next day I can get the flu/fever really bad. Its like my body is just not used to the change in temperature. I take a lot of Vit. C, D, & A, eat right, exersize don't smoke or drink (much).
because your ac is dirty or is most likely mold ridden and needs to be cleaned the filter on the central system needs to cleaned and usually the window acs have to be taken out and cleaned throughly by a repairman they have the good stuff to clean it . The reason your sick is you are breathing in all that crap that is growing in your ac .. sorry but that is the truth .
And another thing. AC doesn't just cool air, it also dries it, so going into a very dry-air environment might be triggering your body's mucous system to try to compensate.
