I've been taking a small amount of cod liver oil all my life but now i cant seem to find it as a liquid any more, it seems to only be available in capsules which i guess is the same stuff but as the product is rather expensive i'm a bit peeved that most of the product i'm buying is the gel cap material that encapsulates the actual cod liver oil.,is there any place i can buy just the cod liver oil?

I take Green Pastures fermented cod liver oil capsules every day. They also sell the liquid form: Cod Liver Oil - Green Pasture

Its a really great product!

It is one of the superfoods out there! One of the best anti-inflammatory foods and is loaded with Vitamin A, D, and Omega 3s.

But pro-meat people say veg diets cause inflamation. So why are the meat people taking cod oil to reduce inflamation, while telling me I look emaciated (because I'm so UN-inflamed).

Carbs are bad
Fiber is bad
Cholesterol doesn't cause heart disease

So eat your grass-fed meat and buy my cod-liver oil too. $cam

I have never heard anyone say vegetarian diets cause inflammation. I would argue for the complete opposite. Regardless, cod liver oil is a great supplement. I really like it for not only the stomach benefits but reducing soreness after lifting weights. Carbs are not bad, nor is fiber, where you this info from? And not all cholesterol causes heart disease. I will gladly buy you some grass fed beef and cod liver oil!!

cod liver (especially fermented) is super high in Vitamin A and D, which fish oil is not. Cod liver oil is also higher in Omega 3s and is a far purer supplement. I read that something like 50% of Americans are Vitamin A deficient.
