About 3 or 4 nights a week I sleep like this. I go to bed at 7 -7:30 and sleep no more than 2 hours. Then I'm up for 3-4 hours and go back to bed again. Depends on the actiity level I've had that day. I would rather sleep in my bed in the evening than doze in front of the TV. I'm retired and don't have to get up to go to a job but I do get up to see our two youngest children off to school.

Sleeping like this would be difficult for somebody who has to get up to go to work early in the morning but it works for me usually.

Thanks for posting this. Very interesting... I have many nights like this, with "broken sleep" .....
