Woke up and one eye was hurting like something was in it. It was red and blurry. I thought it was just watery but kept blinking and it was still blurry. I put some drops in it and a cold compress and after about an hour it cleared up. (The redness and the blurriness) Could this be a dry eye occurance?

No idea about "dry eye" .. but I had sudden pain in the evening (felt like an eyelash was stuck in it that I couldn't flush out) and redness/watering ... I made an eye appt. the next morning and it was a corneal ulcer - which required antibiotic drops.

If you're still having issues, I would go to an eye doctor. Sight is not something to mess around with.

Sounds like "pink eye", or conjunctivitis....very painful, and contagious!

Hopefully not uveitis. See a doctor if it returns. Could be serious.
