Do all Registered Nurses have some amount of psychiatric training, or is it extra training a person only gets if they plan to specialize?

Some program's incorporate it in...I know here it is part of clinical rotation I see a lot of nursing students popping in and out on our unit where I work. You can specialize in a few psych nurse options, psychiatric, Neuro, forensic are a few specialties

We do have training in psych. It was a very intense five weeks, which really isn't a lot but we got the gist of it. We also did clinical rotations in various psych facilities.

I'm not an RN yet. I still have one semester to go, but psych was last semester and definitely the most difficult of everything to date.
