If that was the case they definitely should have told the OP - that is something notable and OP should know for future procedures using propofol. I can't imagine she'd not be alerted - if only because of the possible sore throat that could result. Yes, it IS an issue.

I had the same thing! Never knew that was a side effect of the propofol. I have acid reflux and they laid me flat; I always thought that was the cause of my sore throat (acid coming up). They were kind of nasty to me about it. When I complained (my voice was actually gone) they said I must have come in with broncitis. No, I was not sick when I came in. If that's a side-effect, they shouldn't blame the patient. Hope you feel better quickly.
