I understand there are always exceptions etc etc but if I am told to be there at 8 am for example, what time would you expect to be released? would you say 11 is a resonable guess? I just cannot remember how long I sat up in the recovery bed waiting for them to say ok you may get dressed now.......
If all goes well you should be ready for the colonoscopy by 9am and out by 10 or so. At the latest you will be released by noon, maybe as early as 11am. This will depend on how close they are to staying on schedule. The ealier you have your appointment the more likely you will be to get released on time. I think I was to be there, the last time about 8am and released in time to go out to lunch. The test itself rarely take over 1/2 hour. WEll now I see all went well; good and glad to hear everything is normal.
