Find a GOOD doctor who specializes in the thyroid. You need to have more than just the basic thyroid panel. You need antibodies, free T3 and T4, etc. tested.

I agree about having your thyroid tested more then once. My first test came back as hyper.....two others came back as normal

Definitely get your thyroid checked. I was wearing sweatshirts and pants in the dead of summer and I still couldn't keep warm. Long story short I had my thyroid removed in 2/2016 thanks to Hashimoto's destroying it and multiple nodules, one which was actually a tumor that was growing at a nice pace. No cancer though, thank God.

I used to have anemia and would get cold very easily, even in the summer.

If me, I would get a full and comprehensive anemia-panel done, just to fully rule-out this possibility.
