Thanks! I had one UTI once in my life LONG ago. Went to the dr & the meds cleared it up pretty fast as I recall.
I happened to know those 10 steps you show. I'm surprised it also didn't say to drink cranberry juice. I take cranberry supplements too. These exact ones by Andrew Lessman:
I usually get one every 2-3 years. We run out and grab cranberry juice and I down a couple bottles over a few days and usually it shakes itself out to be a non-issue. I will go to the doctor if it persists, or gets bad enough. But I've heard of people developing a resistance to antibiotics, so I try to avoid them when I can.
I also do pretty much everything suggested in the OP's link.

"People" don't develop resistance to antibiotics...
Bacteria develop resistance to antibiotics.....
Also the idea that cranberry juice will cure a UTI is a myth, there is no real data to support this old wive's tale.
My husband (78yo) had a UTI and the Dr. told me that in the elderly, it is equal among men and women getting UTIs. She thinks it is because of fluid restriction for fear of incontinence in both genders.
I apologize for using the wrong terminology. All I know is the doctor will sometimes give me a prescription (or one for my kid) and recommend not filling it for a couple days to avoid whatever it is that develops a resistance.
And cranberry juice may not 'cure' a UTI, but it certainly clears out my system. My UTIs must then heal themselves....
Cranberry is used in SO MANY products for UTI issues. Can everyone else be wrong?
Many old wive tale remedies have done me and my family good.
