I never get them. I don't drink a lot of water, either. I drink a lot of caffeine, coffee, tea, etc.

I don't do anything special and never had a UTI. I'm seventy.

I don't get herpes simplex (cold sores) either although my mother had trouble with them.

Never had a wart except both times when I was pregnant. I think that's funny and strange.

Your conversation here reminded me of when my dad was in his eighties and quite hard of hearing. It made him talk rather loudly.

We all went out to a very nice, formal restaurant and the waitress took orders for soup, salad or juice. Dad asked if there was cranberry juice and then he announced to the whole restaurant dressed in their Sunday best, "If you drink cranberry juice it's good for your urine."

I have never had a UTI, no. Made it to 60 without experiencing that, knock on wood.

Looked at the article. I do all those things. Seems like common sense.

"Urinate and wash BEFORE sex"??? What a mood-killer. Cuddled up in bed, at night, partner is in the mood, and you say, "Hold that thought, honey. Give me a few minutes to pee and wash." LOL.

After, yeah sure.

So going commando in loose cotton shorts sounds like I'm on track. Give it some air!!

The only time I get a UTI is when I've had surgery and had a catheter. I do follow most of the guidelines in the article.

I had a roommate in the hospital who had used home remedies on her UTI. I overheard enough to decide I would never rely on anything but antibiotics.
She had to learn to catheterize herself. Ow.

Many can remedy their UTI's without abx drugs. My friend is finally feeling better after a couple Cipro tabs a doc gave her when she last went in.

Me too, the very first uti I got, was after a medical procedure, which used a catheter. I would definitely go to the dr if I had another infection, & get antibiotics. If not treated, it can kill.

I do try to drink a lot of fluids.
