My Question: don’t you think Marilyn is an idiot and there are two more questions at the bottom of this

My sister goes to New Hearing for her hearing aids where there are five audiologists. My sister used to use George (co-owner who knows his stuff) but my sister at one time needed Saturday appointments for repairs, etc. so she had to switch to Marilyn (an audiologist who just works there). However, Marilyn really never helped my sister. My sister has programmable hearing aids so the audiologist can program the hearing aids on the premises when the persons hearing gets worse or a little better. Marilyn never programmed the hearing aids to my sisters hearing loss but only to what my sister wanted (which was louder). So my sisters balance became off.

So today I went with my sister to see Marilyn to correct the problem. When we told Marilyn that my sisters balance is off because the hearing aids are not programmed to my sisters hearing Marilyn refused to believe us. Marilyn told my sister to go to an ear nose and throat doctor because it could be a middle ear thing. When my sister told Marilyn she just saw an ENT and he gave her a clean bill of health Marilyn said “Oh he does not know what he is talking about, you need to go see two more doctors - you need at least three opinions”. This got my sister and I furious and we met with the co-owner and told him what Marilyn said. The co-owner looked at my sisters chart and saw my sister did not have a hearing test since 2006. The co-owner told us that my sister needs a new hearing test to see what level her hearing is at and then he can adjust the hearing aids to her hearing and her balance will be back to normal]================================================== =TO AUDIOLOGISTS: Isn't it true that if a person who wears digital hearing aids and the digital hearing aids are not programmed to the persons hearing loss that could make the person wearing digital hearing aids off balance (dizzy ]

TO PEOPLE WHO WEAR DIGITAL: Have you ever felt dizzy when your hearing aids were not adjusted to your hearing loss
