I am seriously considering this procedure. I am a size 8 and a 38 D.

I am very concerned about the proportion and placement of the nipple area of the breast after surgery, as well as the scarring. My biggest problem is that my husband of course loves my chest, and anyone under a C cup is considered flat to him. He does notice though that it draws attention from boys, men and creepy old perverts no matter where I am or what I wear. I also teach HS which makes me even more secure on the job. Not to mention the neck and shoulder pain I have, and the fact that tops fit me like garbage..

I know the scarring is significant and looks awful-- He's supportive since he knows how unhappy I am, at least he says he supports me..Id like input from married woman and men or just men in general that have experience with reductions..

I work in a doctor's office, and one of our patients just came in yesterday had a breast reduction done. She's about 5'2 and weighs around 100lbs, really pettite, her breast size if i can remember was i think an f cup. She had the surgery done around 6mos ago.

They reduced her to a d cup, i believe that's the smallest they could do. They actually look really good, however the scar that is underneath her breast is still pretty prominent, she says that the doctor told her that, that's just the way she heals. Even if that's the best that it will look, she states that she has no regrets doing it, would definately do it again, she just wishes that they could've gotten them to a smaller size.

I myself will be having both a breast lift and a tummy tuck later this month. I too worry about the scars, however i think that the overall outcome will still be worth it aswell.
