There is a clear link between taking antibiotics and an increased risk of developing colon cancer within the next five to ten years. This has been confirmed after a study of 40,000 cancer cases. The impact of antibiotics on the intestinal microbiome is thought to lie behind the increased risk of cancer.
Some interesting information about ivermectin, which has been used IN TYPICALLY ONE DOSAGE FOR HUMANS, for decades in both animals and humans, to treat parasites.

Especially when so many people have been quick to blame things like meat.
The study you linked did not address diet. That omission does not mean eating meat does not contribute to development of colon cancer. Perhaps the 200,000 cancer-free control group was majority vegetarian. Perhaps they were all ABBA fans. Be careful with unrelated conclusions that conform to your bias.
Just about all medicines and just about all herbs can be contraindicated and can cause problems - proceed with caution.
For instance - I took a preventive dose of Cipro, a common fluoroquinolone antibiotic (with a slew of potential problems but hey, I'd never had any sort of problem so there's that) for one week one time. Get this - my Achilles tendons were both destroyed and I had to have surgery on both of them. It was a rare but definite side effect of the antibiotic. But you know what - that antibiotic was actually developed for very serious illnesses (it's over prescribed in my opinion but hey, it does work), and if it was a matter of life or death and I had no other good options, I'd take it again as prescribed.
So like I said, with all treatment plans, proceed with caution.
