But it might also just be something minor, so go get information and/or peace of mind. Better to know.
just curious, does OP have problem getting out of bed in the morning?
A few Parkinson patients figured the earliest sign they experienced is that they have difficulty getting out of bed in the morning.

Check with your immediate supervisor to see if your company has a benefits specialist or a phone number you can call to get help with the process of using your insurance.
How insurance works can differ greatly from one employer to the next and even from plan to plan with the same employer.

Our Ortho group has a hand guy. That’s who I’d go to, but if you don’t already have a relationship, start with you pcp. It does sound like carpal tunnel, or something similar. DH has had minor surgery for similar symptoms. It’s a 15 minute, in and out procedure.

While you are waiting to get in to see a specialist you may want to keep a journal of these occurrences. It should be helpful for your initial exam rather than relying on memory.

It sounds like a pinched nerve. I've had pinched nerves before--at one point, it was so bad that I couldn't push some buttons on a machine at work or open the back door.

Visits to a chiropractor cleared it up.

For a few weeks I had a lip tremor on a daily basis. It went away about a month later. Freaked me out.

academic institution that means like university that also has a medical center right? I live in Vegas I think there are a couple of those.

I just remembered those.....2,3 months ago after shower the left hand felt weird, the ring and middle finger felt like there is a worm crawling around, or felt like swollen fingers, also kind of like electric shock. This happened 3 times, at least 2 times after showering.

So latest episode was the lost of dexterity, left hand felt weak. 1,2 days before that I had mysterious fevers out of nowhere, no other symptoms but fever, forehead felt hot, 10 min later it goes away. happened 2,3 times in 2 days.
I had the exact same symptoms prior to a car accident in September where CT Scans afterward showed significant Cervical Disc Degeneration, where loss of disc support allows bone to infrequently impinge on nerves creating those sensations. If the case it is in fact a degenerative disease where your symptoms and others will become more widespread and constant. Disc Replacement with aluminum spacers is now a routine day surgery with a few weeks of low activity recovery at home/work. The success rate is very high (around 80%) and insurance will cover the procedure pretty readily if you maintain the protocol of proper diagnosis. I would recommend checking in with an LA area neurosurgeon who are much more known for their work and see a much higher volume of patients. Simply see your PCP and get a referral, making sure they're part of in-network coverage in California with your insurance. Check out Dr Bradley Johnson in Pasadena. https://johnsonspine.com/?gclid=CjwK...RoCU4gQAvD_BwE

Thanks everyone for all your replies and help. Well I went to the neurologist yesterday, he said I need some tests done, and it's a lot of tests. MRI, Blood test, Nerve tests-NCS,EMG, and EEG.

I have never done MRI before but I googled it real quick and the cost can be 400 to 3500, oh man my copay is 30% and that would be a lot if it's at the higher end of the cost. For the nerve tests In the paper they gave me it says EMG can be painful, they will put many very fine needles on my left hand I think, oh man does anyone have any experience with that? getting a little scared. For blood test it checked Hemoglobin A1C(check diabetes) vitamin D and TSH 899. Vitamin D I think I look very pale and not sure about TSH.

Dr said don't worry about it too much, we will see the test result and I will work with you. But so many tests it probably kind of serious you guys think? (For MRI and blood I need to go to other places, For the 2,3 tests Dr scheduled me for another 2 visits. If it's a big hospital or acadamic medical center someone suggested earlier, I might be able to get all those done at the same place/time? kinda prefer that vs going everywhere)

The Dr was really fast, sometimes I havn't answered the questions and he would ask other questions, and I would come back and answer the questions. I am kind of slow in the morning I wish the dr could have slowed down and listened more. At the end he just stood up like ok it's finished, didn't ask if I have any questions etc. Kind of rushing it but I was late to the appointment, later I caught the dr and had to ask if it's anything serious or minor, he said could be many things, let's get the tests done first. But man there are so many tests heh. (Also each of the symptoms I mentioned before only happened once, other than the after shower ones, but I guess it's good to treat it seriously and catch it early if it's anythign serious)

For the Dr I googled the dr's name before to see ratings etc, first page got the following sites, are they good sites to see if Dr is decent? health.usnews. vitals.com ratemeds.com medboard.nv.gov. doctors.webmd.com google reviews. What sites do you guys go to see if a doctor is decent or any review/rating/malpractice etc? (Kind of want to check with another neurologist to get a second opinion if I need all those tests...the dr didn't seem very patient or took time to listen etc, was always rushing! I think he said it's not neurological, but something local xxxxxx and I couldn't understand the accent)

How early do you guys go to the dr's appointment? like 30 min before? I went 5 min late but there were a lot of paper to fill out, so by the time I filled out I might be 15 min late already.

I always had problems getting out of bed in the morning since I was a child heh, but never that kind of problem. I also mentioned to Dr that the tremor LOOKED exacly like old people parkinson's hand termor when I youtubed it. Dr said no IT IS probably not parkinson's, for that they would have do this and that with hands etc. Heh but I was TELLING the dr what it looked like, I was telling dr that maybe I have parkinsons.

Thanks yeah good tip I wrote down everything, first I verbally told the DR then I checked to see if I missed anything, but the Dr was so quick, in speaking in checking me out and evrything. I wish he was slower and took his time.

Dr told me to get a MRI and in the paper next to MRI Dr wrote "brain, cervical spin" and checked the box "WO", no clue what WO is. ( Next to WO box there is W and WO and Arthogram)
