I avoid public toilets like the plague they are, and always have since I was old enough to smell. On the rare occasoins I have to sit down I line the seat with TP. So I get very little exposure anyway. I cleaned shopping cart handles for 2 years of the pandemic but no longer do that. I use hand sanitizer when I get back to my car and don't worry about it again. I would hate to be OCD and obsess over it.
I don't worry about shopping cart handles I just wash my hands when I get home from the market.
I have been putting my purses on the floor for ages. No harm has come to me from it.
If you think that's bad, swab the bottom of a woman's handbag/pocketbook/purse some time.
Or your cell phone.
