I was using a cream for eczema called Opzelura and I got negative side effects. The first time it was an infection that made me cough a lot of phlegm for 3 weeks. I had to take antibiotics. I thought it was just a coincidence so I stopped. Then I started using it months later and I got another symptom I never had before and it was blood in my sperm. It happened 1 time. Then I stopped using the cream since then and it's never happened again. Then I noticed a lot of people have been using Opzelura company for cancer and health problems due to this cream. I did notice it doesn't dissolve that well compared to other creams which is part of the problem.
People can file lawsuits for just about anything. Doesn't mean they have a case. The patient information available for Opzelura states the potential risks of use:

Don't know.
I received samples of this cream 2 weeks ago for my dermatitis. Unfortunately my insurance doesn't cover it. A tube of this cost 1895.00
I said give me something else since it's not covered.
Woah, never heard of ANY kind of cream doing this much damage! I had a funny patch of skin just on the back of my hand that never went away no matter what kinds of lotions, etc. I put on it. My dermatologist gave me samples of Eucrisa, which I looked up was what they prescribe for eczema, although I don't believe it's eczema that I have.
The cream's made it better. However, the big question is, will it go away after I stop using this cream? I have yet to see...
Never heard of Opzelura, but I need to remember never to use it w/ horrendous side effects like that!

The indications for use of Opzelura and Eucrisa are different. People and their conditions differ. Eucrisa may not be effective for someone so they search elsewhere for relief. Once again, as with any medication or treatment, it still comes down to weighing the pros and cons.
Opzelura may cause serious side effects, including:
See Important information.
Low blood cell counts. Opzelura may cause low platelet counts (thrombocytopenia), low red blood cell counts (anemia), and low white blood cell counts (neutropenia). If needed, your healthcare provider will do a blood test to check your blood cell counts during your treatment, and may stop your treatment if signs or symptoms of low blood cell counts happen. Tell your healthcare provider right away if you develop or have worsening of any of these symptoms:
unusual bleeding
bruising
tiredness
shortness of breath
fever
Cholesterol increases. Cholesterol increase has happened in people when ruxolitinib is taken by mouth. Tell your healthcare provider if you have high levels of fat in your blood (high cholesterol or triglycerides).
The most common side effects in people treated for atopic dermatitis include:
common cold (nasopharyngitis)
diarrhea
bronchitis
ear infection
increase in a type of white blood cell (eosinophil) count
hives
inflamed hair pores (folliculitis)
swelling of the tonsils (tonsillitis)
runny nose (rhinorrhea)
The most common side effects in people treated for nonsegmental vitiligo include:

If you watch commericals for any kind of meds, and side the side affects they list, you wouldn`t want to take any meds. They all have some sort of scary side affects. This is so they can not be sued.
