This is the one my adult child uses, they live in Colorado mountains where it's very dry. They just mentioned the other day that they order it from Amazon b/c they can't always find it. I believe it has SPF 15 or 30 in it as well.

So true. The maddening thing is that things can change unexpectedly . . . I'd been stung several times over the course of many years with nary a problem. Until things changed. I've found that with many of my other allergies too. One food in particular I ate for many years and was fine until the last time I had it and blacked out with anaphylaxis. Very common according to my doctor.

Thanks so much! The second one looks very promising. The first one has avocado oil in it which I also can't use. All I need is one successful product so now I have some good prospects.

O Keeffe's is the best lip repair that I have found for my lips. I live in the AZ desert and used to have a constant crack in my lips and also they were chapped a lot. They constantly hurt until I started to use that product. They have different kinds depending on what your problem is.

Yes, but it contains beeswax... and lots of chemicals.

Talking about beeswax and chemicals in lip balms is going off topic/hijacking. That topic can quickly make this thread go off its intended course and should be started on another thread if that is something that is wanted to be discussed by others.

In my post, I was referring to the OP who said this....

Any recommendation for a good chapstick perhaps medical grade to help with chronic dry/chapped lips?

Since I live in a dry environment as well, I thought I would share what works for MY lips. Just like others who suggested what works for their lips. No getting into ingredients and that sort of thing. The OP can research the numerous articles and reviews online about people who are for and against the different brands. I never had a problem with what I have suggested and I am not dead yet.

I used Blistex medicated for years then switched to Nivea a decade ago. Either Moistue Lip Care (blue tube) or the Milk & Honey version.

That's they way all of them work.

I use Aquaphor's lip balm. No icky flavors. Not too tacky.
