Physician Rating Sites (doctor, Florida, using)

There are quite a few of them. I've been using Healthgrades. What are others' experiences, how well did your experience line up with the ratings on these and other sites? Thanks very much.

1. First, I verify that their license is current.

2. Then, I generally check the state licensing board for any revocations, sanctions, or disciplinary actions.

3. I also check for malpractice suits filed against the doctor and/or the practice.

4. If the doctor comes from out of state, I check their prior state's records.


For example in Florida, I use https://mqa-internet.doh.state.fl.us...hCareProviders to check for validity of license and this also gives me item (2) above.

I also check all of the above, but I take the comments about the docs on the rating sites with a very large grain of salt.
