Question for Ladies ONLY about memopause

Unfortunately, they didn't work for me. I only went to HRT out of sheer desperation. But try it - everybody's different.

I also take a prescription called Bellaspas, that's the generic name, it's not a hormone and it works get for me.

ILNC: One time when I was trying to go off the Premarin I used Estroven and it didn't do anything. Does the Black Cohosh and Estroven somehow enhance the powers to actually work? I know I saw an herbalist about 5 years ago and spent megabucks on stuff, including a progesteron cream and I was still going nuts and went back on Premarin. Maybe my body is more ready now for something less potent than the RX. Also, what is the other med you have a prescription for (Bellaspas)?

I take four of the Estroven, two in the morning, two at night, one Black Cohosh at night and the Bellaspas at night. The Bellaspas is not a hormone, I really don't remember what I read about it ( senior moment ) you can look it up, I think it's more for relaxation, all I know is I haven't had hot flashes in several months.
Also I got the EXTRA strength Estroven. I also tried the progesteron cream and it did nothing for me.

Well, it depends if you have had a hysterectomy along with being castrated. If so, then most of your problems is from that surgery. If not, go to hysterectomy alternatives and aftereffects, consequences, support, HERS Foundation, Hysterectomy Educational Resources and Services and you will find some help. Email Hers for information on menopause. Watch the DVD 'female anatomy' and then vote to have doctors hand this DVD to every woman prescribed a hysterectomy/castration (removal of ovaries). PLEASE HELP HERS.
