Is there anybody who has experience/info regarding the chloresterol-lowering drug--Lipitor?? I took myself off of it after being on it for about 15 months. I am going to try to regulate chloresterol thru diet and exercise. I have heard that getting a lot of vitamin C helps.
I am afraid of harmful effects. Lately I sometimes get a pain in my right side--approx. just below the waist and above the hip bone (tho my doctor prescribed to continue Lipitor--said we will see what the latest lab work says when it comes back).
Also-I take Levoxyl (for underactive Thyroid). My doctor says I need to be on it for life.
I wonder about the necessity of Levoxyl as well.
