It said my expectancy is 89.

I have always felt I would live till my 80's because that's how long most in my family live to be, I think if anything shortens my life it will be my anxiety problems.

I'm turning 50 next month. I told my husband I want to celebrate. He said nobody wants to celebrate their 50th. I told him I did because I never thought I'd live this long. (Both of my parents died in their 50s and my sister died at 38 so I have darn good reason to feel this way.) Since I'm heading into what I consider borrowed time, I voted 60s since 50s aren't available for the vote.

Wow, why did they die so young (by Western standards)?
I am almost your age and while some people like my mother keep saying I am young, I feel like the best years or decades rather of my life are already behind me, even if I had another 30 years or so ahead of me. It's just not the same anymore. It makes me a bit sad to think about it...
