I'm doing some research on Alexander the Great and I keep coming across references to the Caspian Gates in the Caucasus Mts. I've tried looking up information about it and can't really find too much detail. I've heard he was mentioned in the Bible (something about a man with horns?) and in the Quran and that he helped (with God's assistance) to lock away a group of trouble making people. Does anyone know of any good websites or books I can read or any sites with pictures of the gates or the mountains? Google is not helping. Do you think I should look more into a religious source for references or what? Thanks!
