My secrets cry aloud.
I have no need for tongue.
My heart keeps open house.
My doors are widely flung.

Here's one of my own: "A winning streak says a great deal about the past, but nothing about the future."

Another of my own: "The wheel was not invented by the most industrious worker at the job site, but by the laziest."

In fact, Henry Ford once said that he hired the laziest people he could find, because they thought of more efficient ways to do things.

And, my all-time favorite, from labor union leader Lane Kirkland:

"If hard work were such a wonderful thing, the rich would keep it all for themselves."

Louis Edward Thayer

I fancy when I go to rest someone will bring to light
Some kindly word or goodly act long buried out of sight;
But, if it's all the same to you, just give to me, instead,
The bouquets while I'm living and the knocking when I'm dead.

Of Post-Mortem Praises, st. 1

I don't know why I love you like I do declare myself unfit to hold office furniture at a reasonable price which staggers the economy of any self-respecting society column of marchers seen heading up Fifth Avenue...

I got this from a fellow news reporter, and I thought at the time he made it up on the spur of the moment. Ive googled the main key words, , and the only places it has been used on line is where I used it myself on sites like this. So here it is, giving credit where due.
