NEW YORK—A classic New York City diner has been saved from demolition -- and is moving to Alabama.

Businessman Joel Owens said Thursday he'll move the Cheyenne Diner in two sections by flatbed truck from Manhattan to Birmingham.

About four months ago, the Cheyenne was going to be relocated to Brooklyn. Now it's Alabama? Perhaps there's some kind of sweepstakes going on, and the winner gets the diner!

Yeah, not even a Palm Harbor with a "cathedral ceiling." We live in a very cool Deer Valley doublewide, so I can crack 'em too.

I'm now 50, but I remember when we first all started to get married and the big conversation was who had what kind of mobile home. Ours was Spanish style....and good Lord I thought we were up town.
