I have 9.5 foot Perception ride on top kayak. I'm looking for recommendations for car racks. The car is Toyota Sienna minivan with a factory installed luggage rack. I will be doing some interstate travel up to 250 miles. I've looked at J-Racks and others and am just not sure. The kayak is also fitted with fishing rod holders so if in lays flat it would have to do so on the bottom of the kayak. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks for the reply, but I was looking more for a type of carrier rather than a manufacturer. I should have been more clear.

Plastic SOTs should be carried on their sides because strapping them down flat will deform them, particularly on warm days. While staying in any one position for any length of time will deform a plastic boat, they tend to keep their shape better on their side. An "oil-canned" boat is no fun at all.

But to be honest, I don't really like any of those for sale. After wasting thousands on various systems, I ended up making my own out of wood and aluminum. They fit my boats and mine alone.
