Have you lately been thinking about games you used to play 10 or 15 years ago?

a discussion with some friends turned into a talk about putt-putt and freddi fish, two old games i used to play when i was 8 years or so old.
Commander keen is another game i used to play and once downloaded just for the nostalgia.

I used to love Dark Reign....played it from the 90's all the way up until this year when the disc wore out.

That's what I love about PC versus Mac's....compatibility is almost forever.

Loved loved loved Cosmo. We got it to work in very early windoze versions, but not in later ones. I'd love to be able to find it again and play it.

I grew up in the 80s and 90s and been playing arcade and console games forever until I got introduced to PC games by a friend of mine and I haven't look back. Started out with Blizzard games:

Warcraft 1,2,3
Starcraft
Diablo 1,2
Everquest 1,2
Lineage 2
World of Warcraft (hands down my favorite and played it for years)
Guild Wars 1
Warhammer Online

I haven't played any games for almost two years now......once in a while, I would think of World of Warcraft, especially when I was Lords of the Ring and Hobbit movie.
