Parise banged up and will be out for a few games. Guy works harder than anyone on the planet night in and night out. So now let's see this "depth" everyone on the Wild board has been talking about.
It was a lame effort against the Pens in the ugliest loss of the year outside of the NY meltdown. Need to see some guys step up and need to grind out some wins now in Zach's absence.
Watched the two games vs the Hawks. Wild try but don't get many good scoring chances. The MSNBC staff after the game pointed out how several players were getting sloppy defensively. They felt Wild had too much talent to be out of playoff race (7 points), and they were not responding to the coach. They said Yeo should probably get the axe as there were several good coaches that would love to have this talent level. Pretty harsh when they call for a coach to get canned.

Did they say that?
I personally think Yeo is in over his head here.
Too bad we didn't pick up Laviolette before the Predators did.
As far as the team, we've been plagued by all sorts of bad luck this season. Mumps, deaths of fathers, injury, off-ice incidents (Harding kicking wall, his MS situation) goaltending falling off the face of the earth.
Our top 4 defensemen have only played a total of 17 games together this year as well.
Quite a bit of problems at the moment. We are still 2 games above .500 though, so I think given the circumstances some people are taking hyperbole to the extreme.

With Cooke, Carter and now Zucker out, barring a big move or two before the deadline I just don't see us as a deep playoff threat. I do believe we could possibly sneak in as an 8 seed and maybe even a 7, I just think losing Zucker is a pretty big hit.
Dubnyk wins just enough to ensure another non impact draft pick.
