I subscribe to NHL Center Ice, but come playoffs, it seems they suspend their coverage, yielding to the network and cable options. It's only for regular season games?
Anyway, I'm very confused on how we hockey fans can watch playoff games if not near a tv. I have an iPad, but can I only watch the NBC network games, but not any of their CNBC or NBCSN games? Any way to watch NHL Network's playoff games on a tablet or other mobile device?
Are all of the above non-network options only available on the tv, and not on a tablet, laptop, pc or or smartphone? Can I watch TSN and TSN2 broadcasts on a mobile device -- or must one be in Canada for that?
I think GameCenterLife is subscription-based, but only for the regular season games, right?
During last year's Finals, I had a Verizon Android table, enabling me to catch the clincher for free. But is that only for Verizon devices? I believe so, as the NHL has an exclusive with Verizon. I even see an NHL ad sometimes in my Verizon store.
If I recall, if a game is on the main NBC, like tomorrow afternoon's Pens-Isles, I'm able to access it for free via my iPad if done through NHL.com's homepage? Or do I still need to access it via NBCsports.com?
Seems that Doc Emrick mentions the NBCsports.com site to watch live NHL games? Only for main NBC games, or it also applies to NBCSN and CNBC playoff coverage?
