The Jets look to be the best bet so far this season, though Calgary has really been coming on. Sadly, they look like the only two in the running this year. Leafs should make the playoffs but I don't think they have the seasoning to get too far. Habs, Sens, Canucks and Oilers look to be also-rans.
As long as the Habs keep hiring nincompoops as coaches and managers (prioritizing on last names and language rather than abilities,) this team is going absolutely nowhere.
Watching this season progress, I think the Jets may surprise us for all we know! I as a Wild fan welcome them becoming a lot better, and hope to see my team have multiple playoff series battles with the Jets in the coming years!

I do know about how difficult it is for places like Winnipeg to attract top level sports talent. But I do like the way the management is handling and developing the talent they've been dealt. They seem to take the slow and steady approach to building a team, and I think they will definitely keep the division on their toes for a number of years at the least...
