There is also a hockey HOF in Canada that may have a different distribution.

trends in recruiting are changing. MA, once a hockey hot bed, is showing a decline in talent entering college and major junior leagues. On the other hand, New Jersey is on the rise. guys like Van Riemsdyk and Ryan will be NHL studs. Another, Ciocco, aught to represent well in either college or MJ's...depending which route he choses.

Minnesota would've been my guess. Of course, I also thought Wisconsin would be higher.

Amen to New Jersey being on the rise. As kids playing hockey in Jersey we always looked up to Jim Dowd as a God. He was the one player from Jersey in the league and we all wanted to be like him. Now with JVR and Bobby Ryan ( Two #2 picks in the NHL draft ) it seems like we are about to have not just players but superstars shining for our state.

Sweden and Finland are obvious choices, as are Russia and the Czech Republic. There's some amazing talent from out there.
