So while we wait for October to roll around, I thought a thread for what goes on until then could keep us all occupied and up to date on what's going on in the Hockey world.
So we already know Ray Emery is a Flyer. Other news, Marc Crawford will be the new head coach of the Stars.
I'm a Sharks fan and frankly, I'm not sure what their best moves are.
I'd like to keep Patty and Joe.... Cheech I'd like to see stick around but.... maybe at less pay... Milan, well what could he fetch on the trade market? I wouldn't sacrifice to keep him around.
The free agents.. I'm interested in Khabibulin (sp?) and Gaboik... after that... don't care.
As for the Pens... I'm still on a cup high so no comments for them :-)
And yeah... I can hardly wait till the next season starts!
About the Sharks, I wouldn't mind seeing them in the SC finals, they're a pretty fun team to watch and they've had those SC calibar-teams but can't keep it together, maybe they can figure something out this off-season.
Will be interesting to see if the Isles decide to pick John Tavares, and if they do, if he's enough to keep the team on Long Island.
Like the Flyers needed another dysfuntional, hotheaded, overpaid jerk. At least they got him for cheap. Hopefully if the FO tells Hartnell and Carcillo to kick rocks we just may have enough money for Bouweester
Well I see that A.O. will be at Caesar's Palace tomorrow promoting the NHL 2k10 game. I'll take a ride over there and see if I can get some shots.
