Mashinter then McCauley are probably your best bets for Worcester as far as who will scrap - outside shot for McLaren
I'm a fan of the SJ Sharks and they seem to be bouncing guys to and from Worcester pretty frequently right now
That's for sure... Ryan Vesce, Jaimie McGinn, Logan Couture, Tom Cavanah (he's a fighter), Steven Zalewski, Derek Joslin (currently in San Jose), Brad Staubitz (a fighter and currently in San Jose) and I think Frazer McLaren (also a fighter) have all been called up at one time or another to play for San Jose. So you'll see plenty of players with NHL experience and some that will be permanent San Jose players in the near future.
Gonna try to catch the Wooostaaaah Sharks v Norfolk Admirals on Sunday arvo.
Great!
You will see Mitch Fritz for the Admirals, one of the best fighters in the league.
Sharks main man,Frazer McLaren, is called up to the NHL, so let's hope rookie #53 Brandon Mashinter has the guts to fight with Fritz.
They don't do that anymore. Not in the NHL anyway. Every player who leaves the bench to join a fight will get a 10-game suspension.
I know. I mentioned that I preferred now where it is 5 on 5. Still, whenever someone starts fighting (except the enforcers) every other player piles on and ou get a crowd of players pushing and shoving, while the two who started it all get separated and can't get to each other. My question was why do they do that instead of letting the refs take care of it?

I think that it would help if the NHL were to go to Olympic-size ice sheets only. Smaller rinks equates to greater chances for collisions, intended or otherwise.
The skies have broken open, and a gift has descended from above!! Our local cable company has begun carrying another sports channel that includes NHL ice hockey! Last night was Phoenix versus Minnesota. I have Philadelphia versus San Jose in five minutes. I am gone.........
