Do you think I could place a tv on the wall opposite the kitchen thus not having to see any dirty dishes and have a couch separating the kitchen and tv?

Thanks again
I would NOT put a TV over the dining room table like they have in #3. First, it looks silly, second, that is WAY too high for comfortable viewing. Put the TV on the wall in the living room to the right of the door in that picture. Arrange your furniture toward the middle of the room for best viewing. Put it on some kind of a TV stand and not all the wall to allow for rearranging furniture in the future (and giving you storage space for all the tv "stuff").

Thank you all for the replies; I am leaning towards tearing the wall down and wondering where to place the TV.
