Just bought a lake house and I want to float my living room furniture ... but the outlets are on the walls. It is a dome, so the exterior wall is curved.
I also don't have area rugs--it has W2W carpet.
Any suggestions?

It doesn't look like there is room to float the furniture on the carpeted part of that room without the furniture also being on the tile. Try putting the sofa up against the wall and make a furniture grouping around it. If you're trying to watch TV in that room, I'm clueless other than suggesting you buy one of those sofas with a curved back.
The dome is 40' in diameter and the living room is 20' of that. Hard to see, but here's another perspective from the loft. There is room to float the furniture. My issue is lamps, phone, etc that need to be plugged in. There is an area to the left of the windows for the television ... or there is also tv outlet on the big wall to the right. The ceilings are approx 20-25' tall in the main dome.
If you want to float the furniture and you need outlets for lamps, you are going to need floor outlets. You need to consult an electrician or maybe post under the Home section and see if there are any electricians who can advise you if this can be done. It would be easy to install them if there was a basement underneath but I have a feeling there is not. But it still might be possible to run some lines underneath the floor and have room for the electrical box but I'm not sure.
You need to decide which wall you want to to put the TV. I would take advantage of the existing TV outlet. Since the wall is large you could put in an entertainment armoire.
Then you might have to give up the idea of floating furniture and go with Hopes' suggestion which is the easiest and most hassle free way to decorate a dome!
You can cut a small slit in the carpeting and pad and run extension cords underneath the carpeting to the outlets. Hide the extention cord and slit under a lamp or couch. Not the ideal situation but easy and it will work. Just be sure to use flat, not round extension cords.
