I have a friend who wanted to replace her recliner with this recliner. She is going mostly off of price point and assuming it is a good build quality since it was originally $1200 marked down to $300 and something.
I'm doubtful of this. I don't trust reviews so much these days as I have witnessed first hand the way some unscrupulous companies will hype their own products by posing as buyers. And I think that a lot of cheaply made furniture that is shuttled through online retailers only is often introduced at a much inflated MSRP.
I can't locate a company website or any build info on this item. Does anyone in the trade have access to find this?
Found it!! Wildon Home does not have a web presence. It is under Coaster Furnishings. Of course there is not additional info here, but I can at least email for more construction info.
Haha! I think we found it at the same time. Thanks for replying. I emailed Coaster for more info, but I doubt I'll get much of a reply. Time will tell!
Per the Amazon reviews, it was mostly "much better than I expected for the price" rather than truly glowing reviews. I am not sure where your friend is getting the $1200 figure though, there is nothing showing them selling for anything close to that.
